SeniorSafetyPicks is an independent review site built around one question: which safety and hearing products actually work for older adults — and which ones aren’t worth the money?
We write for the adult sons and daughters, usually in their 40s and 50s, researching devices for their parents: over-the-counter hearing aids, medical alert systems, mobility aids, and home safety equipment. If you’ve ever found yourself typing “best medical alert watch for mom” late at night, this site is for you.
What we do
- Compare current prices across manufacturers and update them when they change — every guide shows the date its prices were checked.
- Check manufacturer claims against independent lab data, expert reviews, and verified customer feedback.
- Point out the weaknesses of every product we recommend. No product is perfect, and reviews that pretend otherwise aren’t reviews.
- Recommend only what we would suggest to our own parents.
What we don’t do
- We don’t accept free products or payment from manufacturers in exchange for coverage.
- We don’t give medical advice. Nothing on this site replaces a consultation with a doctor or a licensed hearing professional. If a product decision depends on a health condition, please talk to a professional first.
